AI Assistant gets disabled when AI Enterprise is off

Problem

When AI Enterprise is disabled, the AI Assistant plugin may be disabled on every IDE start. This can prevent using AI Assistant even when the goal is to work with third-party providers.

Cause

This is a confirmed bug in IDE Services, not an expected product limitation.

Resolution

This issue is tracked in IDES-12074.

If affected, update to a version that includes the fix.

Workaround

If needed before updating, temporarily enable AI Enterprise until the fix is available in the corresponding environment.
