How can I obtain a JetBrains IDE license (IntelliJ IDEA, CLion, PyCharm etc.) for personal use only (without using License Vault)?

1. You can request the IDE license by creating a JetBrains Account at the following link: https://account.jetbrains.com/. Use your email address to set up the account. Through your JetBrains account, you will be able to manage all your products and services, including trial periods, subscription plan, payment services and more.

2. If you are a student, you are eligible for a free license through the JetBrains Student Pack. Please apply for it here: https://www.jetbrains.com/academy/student-pack/.
