Kubernetes Helm Installation: Ingress NGINX Deprecation

Problem

NGINX Ingress Controller has been deprecated as of March 2026 by Kubernetes, causing potential compatibility and support issues for the IDE Services On-Premises Kubernetes Helm installation, which includes NGINX-specific configurations.

Cause

Resolution

The IDE Services team is aware of the Ingress NGINX retirement and is actively reviewing the implications of this deprecation. Whilst no definitive plan or timeline is currently available, this matter is being treated as a priority. Updates will be provided as soon as a concrete resolution path is defined, ensuring minimal disruption to users who rely on the Kubernetes Helm setups.
