Unable to Export the List of IDE Services Users from UI

Problem

Users are unable to export the list of onboarded users from the JetBrains IDE Services portal UI.

Cause

The JetBrains IDE Services portal lacks an in-built feature to export user lists in formats such as CSV or XLS. The requested feature to export user data is not currently available in the interface.

Resolution

As a workaround, this functionality is only present through API, you can use API to retrieve a list of all IDE Services users.

1. Use the Swagger API Access the list of users through the Swagger UI available at the following URL: https://<your_organization>.jetbrains-ide-services.com/swagger-ui.html Before making a request, ensure you obtain an authorization token. You can find a guide to obtain the token here: Automation Tokens Guide. Use this token in the Swagger UI as an Automation token instead of a Bearer token to retrieve the list of users.

2. User Queries from Hub API Query the users from Hub using this API endpoint: https://<your_organization>.oauth.jetbrains-ide-services.com/api/rest/users? Use a permanent token as a Bearer token, which can be generated from: https://<your_organization>.oauth.jetbrains-ide-services.com/users/me?tab=authentication. 3. Convert JSON to CSV/XLS Formats After retrieving the user data through the API, you can create a custom script to convert the JSON data into CSV for further use. This approach allows you to customize the resulting data to better suit your needs.

4. Request a Feature Enhancement If exporting user lists directly via the UI is an important requirement, you can submit a feature request on JetBrains YouTrack. Select New issue, choose IDE Services as the project, and select Feature as the issue type. This will ensure that the request is considered in future updates to the platform.
