Question

How to modify artifact paths of the build configuration using the REST API?

Answer

  1. Use GET /app/rest/buildTypes/id:MyBuildConfigurationID/settings/artifactRules to get the current artifact paths of the build configuration in plain text format.
  2. Use PUT /app/rest/buildTypes/id:MyBuildConfigurationID/settings/artifactRules to modify the artifact paths. The body of the request should be in plain text.
  3. Multiple artifact paths can be separated either by a new line or a comma. Example of the body of such PUT request: logs/*.log logs/logs-subdir/*.log
