Accessing the cleanup rules programmatically

Is there a way to get all configured cleanup rules programmatically via REST API or other means?

Answer

There is no public REST API endpoint to get the configured cleanup rules for the project.

They can be retrieved by using the internal endpoints, but they are not documented and may change without notice.

1. Get the internal project ID.
2. Use the following request to get the base rules: GET /admin/cleanupPoliciesRest.html?baseProjectId=<internal project ID>
3. Use the following requests to get the keep rules: GET /admin/cleanupRules.html?holder=project&holderId=<internal project ID>&rulesHierarchy=effective&getForProjectChildren=withAllInheritors
