How to Display All Errors in an F# Solution Without Opening Files

Background/Situation

I have a solution with several F# projects. Errors do not appear until I open the F# file containing the error. I would like these errors to be visible in the standard solution analysis.

How to show all errors in an F# solution without opening the individual files?

Answer

Currently, this feature is not implemented for F# or C++ due to performance concerns. In the past, the F# compiler service attempted to analyze all files in advance, but this led to excessive garbage collection pauses and degraded performance in larger projects.

For now, there is no built-in option in ReSharper or Rider to enable this functionality without negatively impacting performance.
