A dedicated shortcut for the Add File action is not available because the list of file templates is dynamically generated. However, you can use the action New in This Directory with the shortcut Ctrl+Alt+Insert on Windows/Linux or ⌃+⌥+N on macOS.

To add a new file:

Press Ctrl+Alt+Insert (Windows/Linux) or ** ⌃+⌥+N** (macOS).
