Problem
Whenever you edit Godot script files in Rider and switch to Godot Editor window, "The following files are newer on disk" dialog appears.
Cause
By default, Godot does not automatically reload script files when they are changed in an external editor. So when changes are detected, the user is presented with the dialog window described above and then they have to decide whether to discard ("Resave") or accept ("Reload") those changes.
Resolution
In the Godot Editor settings, navigate to Text Editor | Behavior and enable Auto Reload Scripts on External Change.
