How to stop automatic updates triggered by Rider when integrated with Perforce?

JetBrains Rider does not automatically update your Perforce repository without user action, but a shortcut such as Ctrl+T (assigned to the "Update Project" action) can cause this behavior if misclicked.

To stop this from happening:

1. Navigate to File | Settings | Keymap.
2. Review the current keymap in use (e.g., IntelliJ keymap or Emacs keymap, where Ctrl+T by default triggers the "Update Project" action).
3. To avoid accidental updates, either:
   • Change the keymap to a different one such as Visual Studio or Visual Studio 2022, as these keymaps do not assign Ctrl+T to the "Update Project" action.
