How to install an earlier version of Rider?

Answer

Once can download an older version of Rider using the Other versions page or downgrade via the Toolbox app.

To downgrade via the Toolbox app, follow the steps below:

1. Close Rider
2. Open Toolbox
3. Click on the vertical three dots ⋮ next to the current Rider installation
4. Choose Downgrade to... The previous version is specified there.

If the Downgrade action is not available, older Rider versions can be installed side-by-side via Other versions
