How to find Rider installation folder

Where are the Rider files located?

Answer

To open the installation folder via Rider:

• go to the menu Help | Diagnostic Tools | Special Files and Folders 
• double-click on Installation home directory

To open the installation folder via Toolbox:

• open Toolbox
• click on three dots next to the desired Rider installation
• choose Settings
• the Installation location is specified on the first line. Click Show to open the folder.
