How to exclude/include files or folders from a context menu?

Answer

Starting with Rider 2024.3, the option has been moved to the Edit menu.

To exclude or include files or folders in a project:

1. Right-click the desired file or folder in the Solution explorer.
2. Go to Edit → Exclude or Edit → Include.

Note: Excluding a file leads to .csproj modification, e.g.:

    <ItemGroup>
      <Compile Remove="asd.cs" />
    </ItemGroup>

If the "Exclude" action isn't available in a context menu, the file is probably excluded already. Check the .**proj file.
