PyCharm compatibility with macOS 27 stable release

Problem

Whether PyCharm version 2026.2.2 is fully compatible with the stable release of macOS 27.

Cause

As macOS 27 was recently released, PyCharm has not yet officially included it in its list of supported operating systems. Compatibility testing is ongoing.

Resolution

At present, PyCharm 2026.2.2 is not officially supported on macOS 27. JetBrains is conducting compatibility tests to ensure smooth functionality with this latest macOS version. The company plans to roll out official support with the 2026.3 release, expected in early November.
