Problem
When performing a single two-finger touchpad tap on a folder in the Project View tree, the context menu opens on MousePress (when fingers touch down). As the fingers lift off the touchpad (MouseRelease), the release event triggers the menu item directly under the cursor. This instantly executes the item under the mouse pointer (e.g., opens "Specify Inspection Scope" / "Inspect Code..." or expands a folder) instead of keeping the context menu open.
Cause
The Activate menu items on right mouse button release option is enabled.
Resolution
- Open Settings | Advanced Settings.
- Under the User Interface section, uncheck the option Activate menu items on right mouse button release.

This will prevent the context menu from executing the menu item directly beneath the cursor upon release.
