Unable to run cells in Jupyter Notebooks and encounter the error message:

Caused by: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: 'java.lang.Object com.jetbrains.python.sdk.PythonExecuteUtils.createProcess$default(com.jetbrains.python.sdk.PythonExecuteUtils, com.intellij.openapi.project.Projec

This issue occurs across different projects and is reproducible.

Cause

The python plugin version is different from the jupyter plugin version.

Resolution

Update plugins as described in the documentation.
