Search everywhere displayed out of screen

Problem

Pressing Shift+Shift (Search everywhere) opens the panel out of the visible screen area, making it partially or fully inaccessible.

Cause [Optional]

The exact cause is unclear.

Workaround

1. Close the IDE

2. Navigate to the project directory where the workspace.xml file is located (found in the .idea folder of the project).

3. Make a backup copy of the workspace.xml file in case you need to restore it.

4. Delete workspace.xml
