"Attach to DAP" configuration is greyed out in PyCharm

Problem

"Attach to DAP" configuration is greyed out in PyCharm

Cause

The registry flag debugpy.dap.is.enable is not enabled.

Resolution

1. Open the Registry menu in PyCharm by navigating to Help | Find Action or using the Double-Shift shortcut.
2. Search for "Registry..." and select the entry.
3. In the Registry window, locate debugpy.dap.is.enable and enable it.
4. Restart PyCharm
