Unable to configure interpreter after uv misconfiguration

Problem

When attempting to create a new project in PyCharm, users encounter the "Loading Interpreters" message indefinitely, which prevents the project from being created.

Cause

This issue may be related to configurations associated with python interpreters or residual files from prior installations or configurations. Please see PY-82329 for details.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

1. Locate and remove the problematic configuration file (other.xml), as it may contain corrupted settings.
2. Restart PyCharm to allow it to regenerate the necessary files and load interpreters correctly.
