Installing the MediaPipe Package with Python 3.13 in PyCharm

Problem

The MediaPipe package cannot be downloaded or installed when using Python version 3.13 within the PyCharm IDE.

Cause

MediaPipe currently does not support Python 3.13 as of its latest release. Compatibility for this Python version is still under development and not yet implemented.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, consider using a compatible Python version (e.g., Python 3.8–3.12), which is supported by the MediaPipe package. You can manage different Python environments in PyCharm through the interpreter settings.
